This Gochujang Arrabbiata is a cheeky twist on a traditional dish, infused with the fiery taste of gochujang. Ingredients

  • penne pasta 300 g
  • spring onions 4 (chopped)
  • gochujang 1 tbsp
  • garlic granules 1 tsp
  • chopped tomatoes 400 g
  • Parmesan 60 g

Method

Cook the pasta

  • Cook the penne according to the packet instructions. Drain when cooked.
  • Chop the spring onions.

Make the sauce

  • Heat a dash of oil in a large frying over a medium heat. Add the spring onions and fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the gochujang and garlic granules, stir to combine and fry for 1 minute. Add the chopped tomatoes, season to taste with salt and leave to simmer until the pasta is cooked.

Finish the dish

  • Add the drained penne, stir to combine.
  • Plate up the Gochujang Arrabbiata and scatter over some grated Parmesan, then tuck in and enjoy!
