Garlic Mushroom Melt Flatbreads

A satisfying dish, perfect for a deliciously easy dinner. This meal combines the savoury umami taste of mushrooms with the rich, aromatic flavour of garlic butter. Loaded onto flatbreads with soft cream cheese, it's guaranteed comfort and flavour without the fuss.

Ingredients

  • mushrooms 200 g (sliced)
  • butter 3 tbsp
  • garlic granules 1 tsp
  • flatbreads 4 (toasted)
  • cream cheese 100 g

Method

Make the garlic butter

  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan over a medium heat. Add the garlic granules and let it simmer for 30 seconds then take off the heat.

Cook the mushrooms

  • Slice the mushrooms.
  • Heat a dash of oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Add the mushrooms and fry until brown on both sides. Stir in most of the garlic butter, keep a little to drizzle on top.
  • Warm the flatbreads as per packet instructions.

Plate up the flatbreads

  • Spread some cream cheese on each flatbread, top with the garlic mushrooms and drizzle with the rest of the garlic butter. Enjoy!
