Air Fryer Garlic Bread

I love to make garlic bread in the air fryer – lay it out on the table, lashings of sea salt, and just CRUNCH down with a knife along the crispy crunchy deliciousness. Serve as a side, starter or snack whenever the occasion calls for it. Adapted from 'Poppy Cooks: The Actually Delicious Air Fryer Cookbook', published by Bloomsbury.

Ingredients

  • garlic cloves 6 (crushed)
  • fresh parsley 15 g (chopped)
  • butter 150 g
  • homebake baguette 1

Method

Preheat the air fryer

  • Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.

Prep the garlic bread

  • To prep the garlic bread- peel and crush the garlic cloves. Finely chop the fresh parsley.
  • Cream the butter with a fork, add the garlic and parsley and mix until smooth, season to taste with salt and pepper (you can use food processor for this step).
  • Cut the slices along the length of the baguette, cutting only about two-thirds of the way through to keep the baguette from falling apart.
  • Spread the butter evenly into gaps. Wrap the baguette in foil.

Cook the garlic bread

  • To cook the garlic bread - place the baguette in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
