Creamy Prawn Spaghetti

Ready in 20 minutes, this prawn pasta is ideal for busy weeknights! Feel free to put your own spin on it by using your favourite spices and adding vegetables. If you prefer you can use tagliatelle instead of spaghetti - it's up to you!

Ingredients

  • gluten free spaghetti 300 g
  • garlic cloves 4 (crushed)
  • fresh parsley 1 handful (chopped)
  • soya cream 400 ml
  • prawns 330 g
  • paprika ½ tsp

Method

  • Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions. Drain when cooked.
  • Peel and crush the garlic. Finely chop the parsley.
  • Preheat a dash of oil in a large pan over a medium heat. Add the garlic and fry for 1 minute.
  • Add the soya cream, prawns, paprika and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 4 - 5 minutes until the prawns are cooked through (turn pink).
  • Add the drained pasta to the pan and combine well. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
  • Plate up - divide the pasta into bowls and top with the parsley and enjoy!
