Air Fryer Sticky Beef & Noodles

I love to create fakeaways at home. I am always experimenting with some of the classic take-away dishes. This dish is one of the favourites in our house. It is sweet, sticky and delicious. And making it at home costs less than half the price of buying from our local takeaway. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Pick which supermarket you want to send your ingredients to:

Ingredients

  • mixed chillies 1
  • spring onions 4 (sliced)
  • beef mince 500 g
  • frozen green beans 150 g
  • frozen sliced peppers 150 g
  • teriyaki sauce 200 g
  • straight to wok noodles 300 g
  • soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • salted peanuts to serve (chopped)

Method

Cook the beef

  • Remove the crisper plate from your air fryer and set it to 190°C.
  • Add the beef to the basket and break it up as much as you can with a wooden spoon. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • If you have some fat left in the bottom at the end of the time, drain it off (kitchen paper will soak it up well).

Cook the vegetables

  • Add the green beans, peppers and teriyaki sauce to the air fryer, stir to combine.
  • Cook for another 10-12 minutes until the vegetables are cooked through.

Cook the noodles

  • Add the noodles and soy sauce to the air fryer, stir to combine.
  • Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the noodles are piping hot and starting to caramelise.

Plate Up

  • Meanwhile, chop the mixed chillies, spring onions and peanuts.
  • Serve the sticky beef noodles sprinkled with the chilli, spring onions and peanuts. Enjoy!
