By taking part in this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions and the Plate Up terms and conditions available at https://plateup.app/terms as amended from time to time.
1. Cash for Schools and Charities initiatives
Cash for Schools and Charities initiatives (the “Cash for Partners”) is a donation initiative operated by Plate Up, whereby Plate Up will donate all of its referral fee received from its retail partners directly from Qualifying Purchases during the Qualifying Period to eligible schools and charities.
2. Participation
- To participate:
- Participants must opt in to the Cash for Partners initiative via the Plate Up app;
- Participants must select a school or charity in the Plate Up app for Plate Up to donate the referral fee of the participants Qualifying Purchase to, or;
- Once a participant has completed the opt in process, qualifying purchases can be made online via the Plate Up app.
- Online via the Plate Up app:
- An order of a Qualifying Purchase must be placed and confirmed within the Qualifying Period for delivery or collection no later than 30/06/2026 or such later date as agreed with an individual school or charity.
- Once an order is either confirmed as delivered or collected Plate Up will allocate the applicable referral fee of the participants Qualifying Spend to their chosen school or charity.
- “Qualifying Period”:
- Purchases made online from 04/02/2026 at 09:00 to 30/06/2026 at 23:59 will qualify for a donation to the chosen school or charity.
- “Qualifying Purchase”:
- The referral fee is based on participants total spend online and will be donated to the participants chosen school or charity, after any vouchers, coupons, or discounts have been applied, and excluding “Excluded Items” detailed in term 2,d,ii.
- In Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, alcohol purchases are not eligible for donations.
- Participant(s) must spend a minimum of £50 in one transaction on Qualifying Purchases for a donation to be made.
- Participants will be able to opt out of the initiative at any moment during the Qualifying Period by deselecting the chosen school or charity in the Plate Up app. Any donation from Qualifying Spend up until the moment a participant has opted out will remain in the chosen school or charity and be donated.
3. Eligible Schools and Charities
- A list of eligible charities will be available to select from in the Plate Up app during the opt-in process, as per term 2.
- Only one payment will be made to each registered school who has received referral fee donations in excess of £100 during the Qualifying Period.
- To apply to register your school or charity with Plate Up, please complete the relevant forms on the Plate Up website and the Plate Up team will be in touch should you be successful.
4. Donations
- Selected charities:
- Where a school or charity has been selected, and they have provided their bank details to Plate Up before 30/06/2026 23:59, the chosen school or charity will receive the referral fee of the Qualifying Purchases made by participants during the Qualifying Period.
- If a chosen school or charity chooses to opt out of the scheme it shall no longer be eligible for the donation.
- Plate Up may increase the value of the donation or add additional donation opportunities during the Qualifying Period.
- Donation fulfilment:
- Plate Up shall administer the funds and distribution to the chosen schools and charities.
- Eligible schools and charities will need to verify their bank details with Plate Up by 30/06/2026 23:59.
- Eligible schools and charities who have not verified their bank details with Plate Up by 30/06/2026 23:59 will not receive the donation.
- Plate Up will notify the schools and charities of the amount they will receive no later than the 30th September 2026.
- Participating schools and charities will receive funds into their designated bank account no later than the 30th September 2026 by way of a direct credit transfer.
- Each donation is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered to participants.
5. Plate Up reserves the right to modify
Plate Up reserves the right to modify this promotion or the T&Cs at any time.
6. Cancellation and Disqualification
- Plate Up reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Cash for Partners initiative at any time without prior notice.
- Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions by opting in.
- All users who use prohibited means for participation (e.g. hacking tools, viruses, Trojans, etc.) will be excluded. Participation in the initiative by groups of players, automatic services or professional services is not permitted.
