The Latest Supermarket Deals and Coupons Right Now

If you’re reading this it’s likely that you just can’t resist a bargain, right? Maybe you get a thrill from saving money on your shop or you struggle to wipe the smug look off your face when handing over your coupon at the supermarket checkout (because who doesn’t love beating the system?). If any of this resonates with you, then you’re in the right place.

As well as listing some of the hottest supermarket deals right now (stay tuned), I’m going to let you in on the secrets of how to find these deals and where you can find coupons so that you can get the most bang for your buck all year round.

Let’s go!

How you can find the best supermarket deals

The easiest way you can find great deals at supermarkets is simply by checking out their websites. Go to the offers page and you’ll find a range of deals from half price, only £1, save ⅓ and so on. View Tesco’s special offers, Waitrose’s offers and Ocado’s offers.

If you want to go a step further and find the best supermarket for your shop, you can use a supermarket price comparison tool. It’s similar to those price comparison websites that you may already use for your car insurance and broadband, except it’s for supermarket items. Isn’t that great?

Head to the App Store and search for Latest Deals. Launched just this March, Latest Deals is an app which allows you to compare prices at 7 major supermarkets: Tesco, Waitrose, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Iceland and Morrisons. Simply open the app, head to the search bar, click on the supermarket comparison link and type in the item you want to compare; you’ll be shown a list of prices for each supermarket so you can see where is cheapest.

In addition to saving you a few extra pounds, Latest Deals is great because it means that you can do it all from your phone. Saving money with minimal effort required? Count me in!

Where you can find supermarket coupons

MoneySavingExpert has made all of our lives easier by having a dedicated supermarket coupons page on their website. The page is regularly updated and shows the latest coupons from brand websites. Thanks MoneySavingExpert!

Another way of getting coupons is through cashback. Instead of redeeming coupons at the checkout, this works by giving you the money back after you’ve made the purchase. The best apps for getting cashback are Shopmium and Airtime Rewards.

With Shopmium, you can get a whole host of freebies by buying items and claiming them back later. Airtime Rewards works by you linking your cards to the app. Every time you spend at a supermarket with cashback on it’ll give you money automatically. Shop at Waitrose, for example, and you can get up to 5% back both online and in store.

If you shop at Tesco, there’s a super easy way for you to get your hands on some coupons. If you haven’t already checked out the free monthly Tesco magazine, you need to ASAP. In the magazine’s front cover you can find coupons; this is great because it means that you can easily rip them out and use them straight away. And, as the magazine is free, you can pick up as many as you want!
