Welcoming the remarkable Jo Pratt to the family

Jo Pratt is a wonderfully multi-talented, award winning chef who works as a presenter, author and food stylist as well as a cook. 

She had a passion for cooking from a very early age, growing up near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire, famous for their pork pies and known as the food capital of England.  She studied Home Economics at John Moore’s University in Liverpool and then later went onto working with famous chefs such as Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay and the late, great Gary Rhodes aiding them with their cookbooks, tv shows and live demonstrations.

Working with these amazing chefs, she’d venture out to find her own style of cooking by translating amazing recipes for the everyday kitchen. She is known for her simple approach making her recipes both accessible and delicious. 

Jo is a celebrated celebrity chef, the author of many cookbooks such as In the Mood for series, The Nation’s Favourite Food, The Madhouse Cookbook and her latest Flexible Creations. Her best-selling books won her numerous awards including the Gourmand writing award and Waterstones Writers of the future.

Gordon Ramsay describes Jo’s flexible pescatarian book as: 

A collection of versatile, quick and simple pescatarian inspired dishes, for all to enjoy”.

When she is not writing, she’ll be uploading her recipes on her website, food magazines or live on TV.  In fact, Jo has worked for both British and global companies over the years, some of which include Flora, Tilda Rice, Panasonic and Warburtons. She also runs cookery workshops and classes at Leith’s Cookery School and Divertimenti Cookery School, London.
