Chef Profile: Jenny Tschiesche

Jenny Tschiesche is a dedicated nutrition expert, content producer, presenter, and the founder of Lunchbox Doctor which began in 2009. 

Jenny Tschiesche is also the author of many cookbooks such as Modern Vegetarian Instant Pot and The Modern Multi-Cooker Cookbook. Be sure to check out her newest book Air-Fryer Cookbook which was recently released on the 8th of February.

Jenny's first motivation for starting a nutrition teaching business came from the meals she served her children. In addition, as a former national field hockey player, Jenny is passionate about sport. So as well as being a fantastic chef, Jenny also provides support in relation: sports nutrition, family health and business wellness. 

Sports Nutrition

Jenny thoroughly enjoys educating some of the country’s most talented young athletes on their food intake and the impact this can have on their training and performance outcomes. Her sports nutrition workshops have been attended by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, the Patron of SportsAid; and former Olympic athletes including Dame Katherine Grainger and Becky Adlington OBE.

Jenny offers workshops that focus on the quality of food, the value of specific food groups and the importance of hydration. She is a professional recipe developer for sports nutrition and offers live demonstrations though they can also be delivered remotely. 

Family Health

Growing children have higher energy and nutrient requirements for their body size compared to adults. However, they can also exert strong emotional responses to food and increasingly present with food aversions as well as allergies and intolerances.  As a nutrition expert, Jenny can advise parents and education professionals on how to plan healthy family meals that encourage children to eat a varied diet, ensuring they obtain all the necessary nutrients for good health and growth.

Corporate Wellbeing

Jenny aims to transform the health and wellbeing of your employees through fun and interactive workshops and corporate wellbeing programmes. A healthy workforce is intrinsically linked to the success of an organisation and is increasingly a key factor in improved workplace productivity.

Over the past 11 years Jenny has developed a powerful and effective skill-set translating and simplifying nutrition, making it both relevant and applicable to everyday lives. She will highlight small changes that your employees can make to their food and drink choices by implementing effective healthy eating strategies that will make a huge difference to their energy and productivity.
