Seedlip
The world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirits. Solving the dilemma of what to drink when you’re not drinking.
A story of history, physicians and family farming is how Seedlip came to be. Over 300 years ago, physicians commonly distilled herbal remedies using copper stills to treat disease. In 1651, physician John French published The Art of Distillation documenting these non-alcoholic recipes. That same year a Lincolnshire family started farming, hand sewing seeds using baskets called ‘seedlips.’ Centuries on, Ben discovered John’s book and started experimenting with the recipes in his kitchen. Seedlip was born; a combination of his farming heritage and John’s recipes.
Seedlip debuted in Selfridges in 2015. Since then, Seedlip’s batches have sold out within minutes online and iconic bars, hotels and restaurants like The Savoy, The Ritz and The Fat Duck and even Buckingham Palace have gotten in touch! Seedlip have also since published a recipe book, won awards and is now in 250 restaurants in 20 cities worldwide.
